Attorney-at-law Jukka Kallio, the founder of the firm, served as the Managing Director of the operations of a New York-based law firm in Helsinki before establishing Kalliolaw Asianajotoimisto Oy in late 2000. He has been the primary attorney in several domestic and international merger and acquisition transactions as well as several transactions within the mining and ICT sectors. Jukka Kallio concentrates on mergers and acquisitions, finance, as well as transactions within information technology and mining. He is elected as one of the top 100 M&A lawyers in the world in 2011 by Lawyer Monthly Magazine. Kallio is also the only Finnish mining lawyer listed in the mining edition of the international Who's Who Business Lawyers publication for over five years in row, and serves as a member on the Board of Directors of several client companies.
